What is Voluntary Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance?

Voluntary Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance makes it easy for employers to make a valuable benefit available to employees: the opportunity to purchase additional protection against an unexpected loss.

These affordable policies pay 100% of the benefit for covered death caused by an accident, and from 25% to 100% of the benefit for covered injuries that result in dismemberment.

    Voluntary AD&D coverage includes coma, repatriation, and exposure and disappearance benefits. A range of optional riders are available, including common carrier, felonious assault, paralysis and special education benefits, Spouse training and child care, as well as domestic partnership coverage where applicable.

    Voluntary AD&D insurance policies sold by Mosaic Group and underwritten by USAble Life, Principal, Unum, Symetra or The Hartford can only be purchased in conjunction with Voluntary Term Life. Voluntary AD&D insurance policies sold by Mosaic Group and underwritten by USAble Life, Principal, Unum, Symetra or The Hartford can be purchased by an employee either as a standalone or along with Voluntary Term Life.
