What is Hospital Confinement insurance?

Hospital Confinement insurance provides cash when an employee who chooses to purchase the coverage is hospitalized. The payment can be used toward things like hospital costs, transportation, hotels, childcare, utilities or mortgage payments.

Employers can select among several policies to offer their employees. By paying a low monthly premium, those employees can get an insurance plan that pays out each day they’re hospitalized.

Who should consider it?

Dealing with an extended hospital stay can cause household bills to pile up. Employers who give employees the option to get Hospital Confinement coverage are giving them a way to manage those expenses, and helping reduce one of the biggest stressors that families face.
